I found this the other day. I'd forgotten all about old Marshall BraveStar. A space western version of He-man I guess.

Never watched that one, but I wonder if Joss Whedon got Firefly from that one? Kind of reminds me of that futuristic cowboy Superman fights too. What's his name?

I think Joss may have seen old Peppard's spacecowboy in Battle beyond the Stars. Along with John Boy from the Waltons.

It was the Magnificent 7 in Space. Although the most rememberable thing for me as a kid was the Valkery battle maiden outfit
