Have you ever read about how the comics code authority got into being. Back in the 1950's the government got all over comics for all the violent content. To get the government off their backs they started the comics code. Hard to believe comics were all that bad. Maybe even worse than today in some ways. Well I was watching this Jerry Lewis Dean Martin movie called Artists and Models and it focused primarily on comics and all the big hoopla over the violence.

This clip is a pretty funny commentary on the day. Makes you kind of think about violence in the media in general.

You can buy the movie along with other Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis classics

This is hilarious! Jerry Lewis playing the guy who reads comics for 15 years and finds comics make you retarded. Boy did my wife look at me funny during this scene.
