I used to love the watch the super friends. Can anybody tell me why though any time they got zapped or trapped, they would have to verbally explain their actions every time. Like for instance "...must reach... utility belt.. or kryptonite weakening ....me must jump into lake to get ...away. or I..have to..sum.mmon the shark to ..release me.
I mean it's great though. I can imagine the current Justice League talking that way especially Batman.

better than that.....Aquaman....always on ocean patrol no matter what the crisis was, on land, he more than knew his role, like making lunch for all the super friends!

what i never understood about that show, an it was later made fun of. is the twins, why did he always turn into a liquid type substance?

Here's something I think only the comic books explained. What about the other two teenagers right before the wonder twins, Wendy and Marvin along with their dog.

Super Stupid, cat got your tongue?

How's it going in the land of the intellectually challenged?

I'm just saying that because you know the "stupid" part of your name. It's not a insult or anything.

Tell us who is your favorite Super Friend?

I like the monkey whats his name and whats his power?
Posted:  31 Jan 2006 00:38
The monkey is Gleek, his power is to be incredibly annoying. A few days with him and even the Legion of Doom would surrender.

I just sent Tim 15 superfriend wallpapers. They are from the first season with the Legion of Doom. He already has them up for those of you wanting them. Enjoy.

in reply to the first post, i think them verbally explaining themselves was for little kids, and because in comics they have thought squares to explain themselves, i think they were trying to create a comic like cartoon.
like in sin city when hartigan is telling himself to get up, and to go slowly, and yet he's not talking, u can tell he's thinking, just like the comic book[sad]

It's what makes the super friends fun to watch.

Of course I was amazed when I first saw shows like Spiderman and his amazing friends and they actually moved a few times without saying what they were going to do first.

Spidey didn't say -Must webswing to the other side... must web villain to the pole...

He did however say my spider sense is tingling a lot when it was pretty apparent from the sound effect and visual cues already.

Probably youtube.com. They have clips of just about everything imagineable.

I gave YouTube a shot but they didn't have what I was looking for. I'm looking for one specific episode (a short, actually) but I don't want to purchase an entire DVD set if I don't have to. Oh, well. Thanks for the help.
