Hi there Tim,
well I read quite a few episodes which means your comic definitely has some merit.  I have a few criticisms too.  Too much tell and not show.  Too much information that isn't necessary.  A character must have backstory but we don't need to know it.  It can come out gradually if necessary.   The bacstory makes him do what he does but doesn't have to be part of the story, it's just his past.
Lack of character development.  The hero considering whether revenge or killing is good or bad does not character make.  It takes a bit more than this to make a character more than just 2D.
The "wife" who likes roses and chocolates could like something a little more personal and distinctive I think.  we all like flowers and chockies don't we?

Thanks for the critique. I'm glad you have been reading. I'd be the first one to say I have a long way to go to being a great writer. Maybe I'll get more time to continue to work on my stories and hopefully improve over time. Certainly, even the best of writers wish nothing more but to improve as they go I'm sure.

Do you want to be a writer or is writing Time Rider just a pass time?

Yes, I do, but I also have to work a lot on my websites and try to keep ad revenue coming in. If the economy was rocking again I'd probably take a week here and there to or maybe a day a week to work more on my comics. It sure is a lot of fun creating stories. I really do want to find time to work on them some more.
