Steve Scott Joins the Adventure in Pigeon Forge!

Tennessee--Artist Steve Scott, know for his recent work on Marvel's X-Men characters, and freshly back from a gala presentation with Michael Golden and Russ Heath in Gijon, Spain, is now packing up his gear to join the Adventure at the first annual "The Grand AdventureCon" in Pigeon Forge!

Live from the Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center, October 24th and 25th, Steve will be on hand to sketch and sign for both days of the show. And will also be bringing some surprises to the table in honor of Adventurecon's blood drive and charity events! Details to be revealed soon!

Steve is a perfect choice to be involved in the "magic" (that's a hint)! Steve's work has spanned art for the hit TV show Smallville to his first sequential print illustrations at Malibu comics, and his wildly popular stint on Razor for London Night, as well as New Warriors, Hourman, and JLA for Marvel and DC Comics.

Balancing two careers for a time, after 16 years of service as a firefighter, Steve decided to pursue his love of sequential art full-time after Hurricane Katrina, and recently relocated to the renowned community of artist in Atlanta, Georgia. There, encouraged to pick up the pencil full time by his contemporaries, Steve's work began to appear in the pages of DC Comics Shadowpact, the Creeper, Batman Legends of the Dark Knight, and Checkmate. (He got a particularly special kick out of bringing to life some of DC Comics strangest characters like Detective Chimp, Rex the Wonder Dog, Rag Man, The Phantom Stranger, Creeper and many others.)

Recent and current projects include working with industry legends Louise Simonson and Chris Claremont on the titles Magik and Exiles, Fantastic Four, Avengers, and the Hulk."Indiana Jones: Tomb of the Gods, with inker Nathan Massengill, Marvel Adventures Hulk, and X-Men Forever with Claremont.

Other talent joining Steve at AdventureCon in Pigeon Forge include: Joe Staton,Tom Nguyen, Tom Feister, Scott Blair, Richard Green, Kevin Leen, Brett Pinson, along with media personalities Daeg Faerch, William Forsythe, John Schneider, Jason Mewes, Derek Mears, Doug Jones, Micky Dolenz, and many more.

I'll let u know on the board if I go, but probably not going to happen with my finances. But I always try to plan on going to the Adventure Con in Knoxville once a year.

Sounds cool to me. Even if we don't meet this year I always make it to Adventure Con in my hometown.
