I bought this a few weeks ago. It's called Star Trek Fan Collective - Time Travel and features episodes from the original series, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and the Next Generation.

Buy from Amazon

Episodes include:

Original Series:  "Tomorrow Is Yesterday" Goes back to the present errr 1960's.   "The City on the Edge of Forever" written by sci-fi legend Harlan Ellison.

Voyager's series finale "Endgame" which was is cool because not only is it a time travel episode but you get to see how the series wound up as well. I always love to see a good series finale. Also includes the two-part "Year of Hell"

Deep Space Nine:  "Little Green Men"  Feringi end up at Roswell mistaken for martians in 1947 and "Tribble-ations which mingled old footage from the original series with new footage. Very neat!

The Next Generation: "Yesterday's Enterprise," "Cause and Effect," the two-part "Time's Arrow," and the series finale "All Good Things.

If you love time travel stories as I do then this collection is for you. Of course if you haven't seen it yet and I can't imagine a sci-fi fan who hasn't, the new Star Trek movie relies heavily on time travel in it's story. I think it's the most awesome way to reboot a franchise that I've ever seen really. Expertly done! And then there's the classic Star Trek IV Voyage Home set you might consider available on Blu-Ray and regular DVD. Captain Kirk goes back to the 80's with humerus results. Love the scene where Spock takes on a loud spikey haired punk rocker with a boom box.

About the Star Trek fan collective series: As much as I'd love to own every Star Trek series DVD set I'm afraid the cost is too much, so I think the collection series is the way to go especially when you consider it's much easier to find the episode you want to fit the mood you're in at the time. Collecting all seasons of every Star Trek series though is not entirely impossible, but for me could take quite a while before I personally can afford it.

The next Star Trek DVD set I look forward to getting is Star Trek Alternate Realities which is another subject I've loved since reading all those Earth-2 stories from DC comics as a kid not to mention all of Marvel's What If comics.

Time travel fan? Read my superhero Time-Rider series online!
