I LIKE ONLY CERTAIN KINDS OF MANGA. THE ONLY TITLES IN MANGA THAT I LIKE IS, FullMetal Alchemist & Naruto. BOTH OF THEM ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN T.V. ANIMATED SERIES ON ADULT SWIM!

i like manga
my favourite is the one involving anti-hero Alucard
called Hellsing and the hair in these is not poofy haired but there very scary,its also a tv series
p.s haven't Beaten Dave yet

supermans got too many powers hes just lame.
im british so why would i care about american icons.
i prefer anti-heroes,reluctant heroes and those with a good plot or tormented past and present like darkman,batman,spider-man and the hulk.
but iron man is ace too.

superman has too many powers?  this from the man that invented "superdave..." who has every power? if you prefer anti heroes how was the king of all anti heroes not on your list? punisher ring a bell?

I can understand a Brit wanting their own heroes, and I respect the different opinions but personally I'm thinking the dark gritty tortured soul hero is getting a bit overdone. It's time for some stories that are more sci-fi oriented. Characterization is very important, but there is too much whiny cry baby life is miserable stuff going on. I want a hero that acts like a hero and a story that allows me to get away from real life problems otherwise I could just watch the news.

I miss the old days, but not withstanding the dark gritty hero has his place we just need more of a balance. Everybody can't be dark and gritty and suffering all the time.

dr. manhattan from watchmen fits the science fiction profile but i'm not sure anyone in that is a real good vs. evil straight up hero.  maybe the nite owl.

its always got an exclamtion mark,i just helped make daves back story,hes got a darkish past.

and btw darkman is sci-fi based and so is superdave!
darkman made liquid acvtual skin.
