Hello, Im kinda confused. I think I might have schizofrenia(I think Im schizo). I don't know why, but sometimes I can totaly hear or see things that isnt there(Oh boy, am I paranoid to?), and sometimes I can totaly get a blackout. And forgoten the last hour or longer, or shorter. I know this have nothing to do with comicbooks or superheroes, but I just felt telling you guys. What if I have schizofrenia? What shall I do then?
Have you known or know someone who has/had schizofrenia? How did they deal/deals with it? I might be totaly crazy, and I don't want to be that. I maybe need to go to a psycho hospital, with psychos.
I want help. Could you guys tell me something that I could do? Thanks anyway! __________________

I'm no doctor but maybe you could keep a written record of when it happens. Also what you were doing before it happened. Maybe make a list or any meds you may be taking. You might be having some side effect of one or two drugs combined. Also food stuffs you might be allergic to something.

Well, I am not allergic to anything, but the last time I got a blackout was two days ago. I remeberd being at the cafetreia at school, but then I just was in the class room. And I have no other "side" illness, just ordinary stuffs like getting sick and getting cold. But I'll be telling you guys every weird thing, even if you want to know.
Maybe I got something inside me, that just want to get out, like when I'm pissed off, then I'm really pissed off. And I'm getting all psycho and stuff.
But I'll tell you guys. __________________

Did you ask someone what happened inbetween the time you were in the cafteria and the classroom? Maybe if you ask someone it can help you piece this blackout puzzle together. I asked my friend, he said that I was a little bit "not me". And that I was buying ice cream to everyone in there () So I guess we, or atleast I, are dealing with someone who wants to buy everyone ice cream. Just kidding, but I don't like it, what if I get in trouble? And do something stupid, that wouldn't be so good.
I got a mini blackout today, but I was in full controll off my body and mind. But I was just sitting on a chair for like 5 - 10 minutes and looked in the wall. I was listening on a voice, that sounded like my own, but it wasn't me talking, I was just listening. The voice(probebly something in the back of my head) said something about showing the other who I really was. It's a bit scary. __________________

I'm thinking of writing a Batman story just to loose my mind of the schizo thing. I think the story should be "Burton-ish". But I don't know what it should be about. Nothing long(well, maybe), just so I am thinking on something els! __________________

I was reading Batman comics and that worked. But I can't stop thinking about it. I assure you, I am going to kill that thing. But I wonder, if I kill it, ain't I killing me to? I mean, earlier today at school, some voice in my head told me to show everyone who I really am. So maybe I am trying to be another person, and that voice peron is the real me. I'm getting confused.
I'm sleeping over at a friend tomorrow, maybe I can be able to think on something els there.

Last night I was listening to Coast to Coast a.m. and I heard this guest on that program talking about how some people get visted by entity's. When I heard that I thought of you ComicDude. The guest on that program said that sometimes the voices in your head aren't actually voices at all and are actually Interdimensional beings who are trying to communicate with people for unknown reasons.
That same guy also said that the entity that visited him took him to hell for two days straight. The guest said that hell is nothing like we humans could even fathom. He said hell is like a huge crowded room where everyone is pushing each other. He heard really loud screams and all you could smell was brimstone. The man even saw Satan at one point but he siad Satan is better descibed with a the feeling of pure evil not what he looks like.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is maybe you are being visited by an entity of some sort. So next time you get freaked out about the voices and blackouts just think at least I don't have to go through what that guest on Coast to Coast did. __________________

May I suggest you seek out and watch this film. It might change your life or at least make you more aware of what might be happening. Plus it is slightly comic book related. Here's a trailer.

So this is what happent me this weekend:
First: When I got to my friend. I was totaly normal, no blackouts, but later on the evening, we were watching some trailer on youtube and I just started to walk around in the room and then I just stopped and sat on the floor. I was sitting there for like five minutes, watching my friend. He asked what I was doing, and I told him I didn't know. Because I didn't know what I was doing. Walking around in the room, well, I just do that when I'm bored. And I wasn't so bored.
Two: To day when I was home I watched a movie, and Frank was talking to me, and I was lisyening and awnserd his questions.
THIS IS WAS REALLY CREEPED ME OUT: I was asking him why he was walking around at my friends house and he said(this is the complete quote)
Well, I was bored, so I just walked around. You didn't noitce that? Well I gotta go now, bye.
And after he said bye and stuff, I heard someone walk away.
EDIT: Guys, you should notice that I told you that when I was bored I used to walk around, and what is the odds that he is doing the same? Well I thought it was creepy. __________________

It's actually a movie but The Writer/Director Richard Kelly wrote a book on what inspired him to make the film. He said he had the idea of a making the film like a big live action comic book. I've seen the movie 5 or 6 times and still don't really see what he meant by that. I guess there are a few comic book aspects to the film. __________________

For almost nine months I've been kinda fine. But in the end of July - I started to have these "blackouts" again.
I thought these things were over. I looked this thread up again, read all the posts and found out that my dad had the movie "Donnie Darko" at home.
So I watched it, and I found myself in the movie in some parts.
Like (if you remember) when he is talking to the teacher about the fear and love thing. I were stunned of how much that reminded me of when these things first started for me.
And yes, school ain't going well with "Frank" holding me up at nights. But I somehow always fall asleep by these "blackouts", or at least I think it is the blackouts, I always wakes up anyway, which means I've been sleeping.
I don't ask you guys to help me, I just want to write me of a little bit. And, you guys, seems to want to help. I appreciate that. __________________

I only now came across this topic and thought I'd weigh in.
What you are describing does not entirely sound like schizophrenia, though ome of it does. Schizophrenics by and large experience auditory hallucinations, which is part of what you have mentioned. However, the disorder is not the same as disassociative personality disorder (multiple personalities), despite public perception. The reason for the confusion of disorders is that schizophrenia translates to "split brain". For further study, I direct you to Wikipedia's page on disassociative identity disorder. Thy have a list of symptoms which would be helpful.
But, most of all, know that seeking peer help and online research can only go so far. A psychologist can more accurately tell you what is going on. Note I said psychologist, because psychiatrists do not have an extensive psychological background and primarily only prescribe drugs (their schooling is mainly medical). __________________
