Good news! Fringe has been renewed for a full 22 episodes for it's fourth season.
I thought Fringe was in some serious trouble after getting moved to Friday, and the ratings have taken a beaten I hear, but it's coming back. I guess Fox actually cares that they have a good program on their hands. It's not like anything else would do any better on a Friday anyway. I remember when Fridays was actually a high ratings day back when Dallas, Dukes of Hazzard, Incredible Hulk, and Miami Vice were on.
I love Fringe if for no other reason than to watch Walter!
Human Target is another good one I love to watch. I think what I like the most about Fringe is the characters. If I had to pick on anything this season on Fringe, I think it might be they need to spend less time in the alternate world. I love alternate world stories, but I think it takes away from the show when we don't see our familiar cast of characters as we know them to be. Walternate just isn't any fun like our world Walter. He's way to serious. It's good when we see both worlds on the same episode though. I like that. Not happy with complete episodes on the other side quite as much.
Still the alternate world storyline is very interesting as a whole. I think I'd like them to find out there are other worlds as well.
I hope No Ordinary Family gets renewed too! They can cancel that stupid Dancing show to make up for it, or a couple of their stupid comedies. Except the Middle. I like that one. That one is a classic in the making. __________________

I agree, Walternate is not nearly as funny as crazy Walter. I can still enjoy the alternate world episodes though, even if Walter, Peter, and Broyles are not there. I'm glad they could bring Charlie back on the show too. Its a shame they had to kill him in our world. Maybe at the end of the season he can switch universes?
I like No Ordinary Family, but its not one of my favorites, not like Human Target or Fringe. I could do without all the high school drama but the storylines with Michael Chiklis and George are pretty interesting. I'm still a couple of episodes behind on that show so I need to start watching them this weekend.

I'm just wondering how they are going to straighten out the daughter from controlling their minds on No Ordinary Family, or if they'll even find out. That's kind of an interesting dilemma for a parent.
The time travel show tonight should be very interesting.
Walter is like the glue that holds together the Fringe universe. Without him it wouldn't be nearly as fun. Do you think Walter was a hippy in the 60's and that's why he's always wanting to be wasted?
I'm curious as to what will happen if Walter gets his mind completely back. Might ruin his character. You would think Walter fried his brain on drugs instead of having had portions removed.
Got 3 weeks before the next show, dang it. __________________

Yeah. Mind-controlling your parents is a big no no. She needs a serious but whooping, I'd say. But how will they ever find out?
What time travel show?
Yes, I could see Walter as a hippie. I think I remember him at some point listening to that kind of 60s music and he may have mentioned Woodstock, but I could be mistaken.

Tonight on No Ordinary Family the wife is going to run so fast she winds up 2 days in the future where some bad stuff happens to the family. Then she has to try and fix whatever goes wrong in the future before it happens.
I just found this page where the Fringe Executives discuss renewal. Kind of interesting. Acts like they knew it all along. Show has high DVR recordings. __________________
Oh, I thought you were talking about a new time travel show. I would like for there to be a new show about time travel. Remember Journeyman? That was another good show that got canceled early.

Yeah, I'd love that too. Journeyman was really good. The sci-fi channel should have picked that one up. Time travel has limitless possibilities for story ideas. Like on Quantum Leap you never knew where the hero of the show was going to wind up. I like that kind of surprise every week to a show. __________________
Oh man, Quantum Leap has always been a favorite of mine. I loved that show. It was nice seeing Scott Bakula again when he guest-starred on Chuck and we got to hear him say his famous catch-phrase "Oh boy!" I'll never get tired of time-travel shows man.
Hey Tim, have you ever seen that old 70s show Fantastic Journey? I was watching the pilot episode on YouTube the other day. It was an interesting concept; a group of people are left shipwrecked on an island that seems to be in some kind of time lock as one character called it, where there is no sense of time, and other people from the past, present and future are trapped there. It seemed pretty cool.

I might have I'm not sure. I'll have to look that one up and see what's its about. That sounds very interesting. I love that kind of thing. There's a lot of old sci-fi shows that are there that didn't last very long. I wish there was a channel that played them all, or a site that had them all listed and available for viewing. __________________
Well I discovered Fantastic Journey by looking up old TV shows. I found a page that contains all 70s TV shows. I just clicked on the ones that sounded like sci-fi, then I would check YouTube to see if they had them. There's a few more on here I want to check out too, one of them sounded like it might be like a superhero show called The Man From Atlantis. Here's the page I looked at:
I remember watching Man from Atlantis when I was a kid. It starred Patrick Duffy from Dallas. He was like Aquaman. He even had his own comic book series for a while. __________________
I knew I had recognized that kid from somewhere. He may have been in a lot of stuff, cause it may not have been just Escape from Witch Mountain. I wish YouTube had better quality videos of this show. The faces are blurry.

Funny or not so funny depending on how you look at it, but that kid is a old guy now. I think he used to pop up on all kinds of shows back in the 70's. I think I saw him do a cameo on the new Witch Mountain movie they made a couple of years ago. __________________
