you know whats wierd i cant find anything about it on marvel.com
Posted:  02 May 2006 22:55
Yeah that is wierd, but it seems like they stick to only comic book news, don't they? I don't go to Marvel.com very often. I kind of think they let news and what not up to fan sites.

ill more than likely watch it. are you gonna watch it tim?
Posted:  02 Jun 2006 14:45
Yeah, I'll definitely watch it. I hope the fight sequence are as good as Blade 2. I think that was the best movie out of the 3.

do you think it will be as sucsessful as smallville?
Posted:  02 Jun 2006 16:12
I don't know. It doesn't have the fan base of Superman, but if it's a good show on it's own merits I would think a lot of comic book fans would find it and start watching.

not nearly as much as smallville. also, the guy they got is some muscely bald dude. i would've gone with someone more like snipes.[smirk] and i dont get why marvel is making a series off of him instead of some big character, and if it's movies, or cost that's stopping them, use punisher. he's got no current movie, and no powers. it would be cool to have a punisher cameo atleast. but i honestly feel that there's already too many vampire tv shows. maybe thats what drew them in.

I think the deal is that Blade has made as much money at the box office as he's going to so it's time for the character to go to TV.

Having been on the movie screen already gives Blade a little extra push to help launch the TV series.

I think Marvel wants to take every character they have and make a movie with them first.

yeah, also they're trying to extend there audience i think.

fantastic four? they made a new cartoon about them? I've been stationed in korea for awile so i'm out of touch with all the new series.it sucks

It just started a couple of weeks ago on Cartoon Network. On the bright side if you miss it, you can always buy the dvd set and watch it commercial free.

Do they have any American TV shows in Korea or are they all in the Korean language?

Does anybody know English there?
Posted:  15 Sep 2006 02:21
The army provides soldiers with american cable, but each channel is dedicated to certain types of shows, like the prime time channel were they just show prime time reruns, or the sports channel, they have cartoon network but they don't have the new cartoons on there or adultswim. lol, imean i bought cable just to get adultswim and they don't even have it. and as far as koreans speaking english, alot of them do since we are the biggest superpower in the world, they learn it in school.

That's cool. It would be wierd if nobody around you spoke English. What cartoon channel do they have is it Boomerang or a totally different Cartoon Network channel?

I wouldn't worry to much about new cartoons on Cartoon Network. The only one new I've seen worth watching was the Fantastic Four. I hardly ever watch that channel anymore. There for a while it was great with Johnny Bravo, Dexter, JL, Teen Titans. Cool stuff, but I don't think they are making new ones for any of those cartoons anymore. I know the Justice League is over.

On the subject of Blade again. I read that the future of the show is up in the air. Makes me think the ratings were on the border line for an expensive show like that.
