I had thought about picking up Avengers Academy since Hank Pym--one of my favorite Avengers--is in it, but after reading these few pages of Spider-Man--No way! These kids are too annoying!

One thing I wonder: what the heck does Cyclops have to do with th issue, for him to get a variant cover all to himself, featuring him through the years?  I'd understand an X-Men cover like that but not Spider-Man.  Also, aren't the X-Men based onthe West Coast now?  How would the justify a crossover with Spider-Man, when the latter is in New York?

I don't know. Maybe there's something special going with Cylcops. Is he appearing on the cover of any body else's mags? In my opinion he's the coolest of all the X-Men and it may be worth checking out.
