i recntly heard on the radio that the superman we all know and love was on the radio before he ever appeared in a comic book. it's said that comics might be political because he fought the kkk (though they weren't called that in the story) and helped along ciil rights. it'as nice to know every once in awhile that we're not just reading childish trash (not that i call it that) and that we may be reading omething important in influencing america. and ofcourse by seeing spidey 3 on opening day, we're making history __________________"You...complete me."

Yeah, I watched the superman documentary they showed on A&E plus I've heard it before on some older documentaries that Superman was very political in the day. The radio show wasn't the original place Superman debuted but they said a lot of stuff we all take for granted in the Superman universe came from that original radio show like kryptonite for instance. The guy that did the voice for superman went on to do the voice of superman on cartoons.
