According to a production update from Box Office Mojo, Twentieth Century Fox have given their long-productive much-anticipated sequel, The Wolverine, an official release date. Joining Marvel flicks Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 in year 2013. 7/26/13

I hope this comes out. I don't care what the critics say, Hugh Jackman is one of the best superhero actors out there today. He puts a lot of time into looking the part, working out etc. He reminds me of Stallone in that he puts the physical essence into the character not just the words of the script.

Hugh Jackman Quote: "When I have 315 pounds above me, there's that little breaking point," he says. "You either get really pissed off at that weight, or you ask for help from your spotter. It's that exact point -- and every guy reading this article will recognize it -- when Wolverine gets not just pissed off, but insanely pissed off. I try to reach that point every day in my workout. And then push through it."

His last movie Real Steel was a lot of fun too.

Real Steel was surprisingly better than I thought it was going to be.

I agree that Hugh Jackman is a great superhero actor and I can't imagine anyone ever doing a better Wolverine. I am definitely looking forward to this movie.

I still say he's too tall for Wolverine, but otherwise he's great.  The problem I really had in Origins was the movie itself.  The writing was poorly done and the special effects were worse than even the first X-Men film, at a time in which they should be able to be better on a smaller budget, considering how much time (and movies) had passed between the two films.

But this one I believe is going to try and follow the original Wolverine miniseries (before he got his regular comic), and that would be awesome.  Considering that series is what got people interested in the character (I think he was the least popular X-Man before its release), it is obviously some great source material.
