“So are you going to release Omega-Man?” Brennon asked indicating the yellow hooded meta who was currently inhabiting a stasis pod alongside Blackhorn.
“Soon” the scarecrow wearing a lab coat answered, “I want to run some more tests first. I came across an anomaly with the DNA detector.”
Confusion was clearly evident on the lone survivor’s face so the scientist elaborated “when the two combatants were captured in my transport beam it ran a DNA test on them to make sure they were in fact who I was targeting. I still have a sample of Blackhorn’s DNA from my time spent with the SDL and so I wanted to make sure I had him and not some sort of decoy.”
“Spit it out Professor?” Brennon pressed.
Professor Crow nodded “don’t fret it really is Blackhorn, it is Omega-Man I’m concerned with. Do you know who he really is?”
“No” Brennon said.
“I see. Well neither do I with any certainty. But it appears he’s both human and of Blackhorn’s blood.”
“Are you suggesting he’s in league with Blackhorn?”
“Honestly I do not know, but no I don’t think so. He is related to Blackhorn though and that raises more questions” the scarecrow clarified.
“What do we do now, Prof. Crow?”
“I want to triple check my data and verify a couple other facts…then we wake him and ask him ourselves.”
