SPOILERS
these are awesome. actually kinda sad...but aweosome. i'm not gonna give away to much of the story since everyone already pretty much knows everyhting.  bottom line, spidey's unmasked, the rebels against regestering are few and outnumbered, and captain america is officialy a bad @$$!!!  first issue cap gets surrounded by shield's new superhero hunter troops andhe explodes.  he tells them to stand down but that shield lady says no. cap is slowly getting pissed. finally with about 20 big guns pointed at him cap's lip is shaking as he says (something like) "you dont want to go there, son.  they cock there weapons, and in the style o "V" cap whirls around and fling his shield at the guards and after taking down about 10 of them by smashing there "halo" style helmets in with his shield, he jumps oput of the window onto a jet hat was hovering outside the window, smashes his shield into its window so hes standing surfer style on a jet. all this and as the pilot says the lords name in vane, he still tells him to "watch his potty mouth."  you later find out that they stopped for burgers and landed on a football field.
ca's my hero. second issue cap rescues the young avengers (and i also think it's awesome that they're encorporating the little guys) and sppidey unmasked.
where is the sentry in all this? guess he layed low for this.
issue three, a heated battle between the registered and the unregistered.  when iron man punches cap i was in awe. the art was the coolest thing i've probably EVER READ IN A COMIC.  McNiven's art is the most detailed and realistic maybe ever. you could see the shreds from cap's mask! and the colorin and ink was all perfect.  if your starting to loose faith in good comic book action. READ these. they are spectacular.  anyway all of a sudden a huge blast from the sky, even daredevil (rebel) is shocked, and the awesome last page you see............

you have to read it to find out. this (unlike spidey unmasking) is actually still unknown to those who havent read it.
right now, i'm givin' the books a straight 10.  they're dealing with characters that have been around for decades and it's very hard to have a civil war between them while staying true to every character. and they've done it. (P.S. the tie ins were kinda dull until i read the civil war, then the connections and reference was great.
