Thanks, I got the idea from a guy at the gym wearing a t-shirt with a big Grandpa written on it. It said something about spoiling kids or something.

There is no greater menace to society than the spoiling of kids by grand parents. I am the victim of such a crime.

Have you ever tried to raise a kid who has been completely spoiled rotten by grand parents? It is a work of the devil I'm sure.

raising kids is not an adventure i have embarked upon yet. wow, that sounded old, and not old at the same time. eww

Unfortunately, getting old cannot be avoided. Personally, though I try to slow it down as much as possible though.

Did you ever see the Howard the Duck Movie superdude?

It had that girl from the Back to the Future movie that played Marty McFly's mom. It bombed financially at the box office but I always thought it was ok for a movie about a talking duck.

That's wierd you know I just bought the trilogy on DVD a couple of days ago at walmart.

Of course I've saw them all a million times, but I wanted my kid to see them.

I guess I should reprase I love good time travel movies. The cheap ones made just for the sci-fi channel or straight to dvd releases can be pretty bad sometimes.

there was this christmas one with a sort of time travel calld like three days or somethin that i liked. and its a wonderful deals with alternate dimensions.and i liked this one episode of the original star trek show, probly the only original trek ive ever seen cuz my teacher loved time travel, where the main guy meets this girl that ends up dying. i'll tell you more later to see if uve seen it.

I think I've seen all the original Treks way back in the day on reruns, but I ....don't.... know that one. I....nneeed morrrrre infoooo, .......Spock.

they went back in time and the dude likes this girl wh is anti war and runs a soup kitchen. but he finds out she's going to die and wants to stop it but spock holds him as the car hits her because apparently she makes a deal with hitler soon after her would be death and gives him more power to save her town. or somethin like that. so she had to die.

Oh, yeah I saw that one! That was one of the best ones. I love it when Kirk and Spock show up in present day Earth settings, which reminds me I just thought of another movie to add to my list of time travel movies.
Posted:  12 Oct 2006 20:39
yeah that one was set in wwII i think. i loved the drama when spock held kirk back from saving her.
