From right out of the X-files comes some fascinating Presidential tales of UFO's.
Wnd.com recently asked the question why was former United States President Bill Clinton so nervous when the subject of UFO's came up on the Jimmy Kimmel show. Hillary or Monica were nowhere to be seen.
From the wnd article-
Following the first portion of Kimmel’s interview and prior to a commercial break, Kimmel announced he would be asking about UFOs upon return. While Clinton concluded he found no evidence they exist, he said, “if we were visited someday, I wouldn’t be surprised.”
Clinton – who had been using both hands as he talked, sitting with both feet on the floor – immediately adopted what Hansen described as a defensive stance, indicative of intention to conceal, when first asked about UFOs. Clinton began gripping firmly both arms of his chair and crossed his legs. For most of the remainder of their conversation about UFOs, Clinton’s right hand stayed firmly anchored to the arm of the chair.
Clinton claimed Americans thought aliens
were kept at Area 51 because workers there were required to wear special uniforms. But Hansen noted a leading Area 51 expert he consulted said Clinton’s claim was novel and had never been made before.
That does seem weird, but you have to consider that Mr. Clinton has always been the master of b.s. I'm sure he was just pulling out stuff out of the top of his head as usual without having to have any real basis for anything he says.
Hansen identified incongruence between what Clinton was saying and his body language when asked about the Roswell incident, where a “flying saucer” allegedly crashed on a New Mexico ranch in July 1947. While telling Kimmel he had “everything” checked, Clinton was shaking his head no. Further, Hansen pointed to a 1995 General Accounting Office report that stated all administrative and communication files between 1946 and 1949 from Roswell Army Air Field had been destroyed.
At times, Clinton clinched his jaw, looked away from Kimmel and closed his eyes, all signs, said Hansen, that Clinton was experiencing stress or attempting to conceal his feelings. Other times, when UFOs
were discussed, Clinton would stammer and change topic mid-sentence, something that disappeared when the topic changed.
Sure he wasn't reliving the Monica scandal?
Since Kimmel had announced Clinton’s appearance on the show and his intention to ask about UFOs two days prior, Hansen reasoned Clinton should have been prepared and not caught offguard by the subject.
Was Clinton hiding information he knows about UFO's and aliens?
According to wiki Jimmy Carter while governor of Georgia, was asked to file a report of a sighting by the International UFO Bureau in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which he did in September 1973. Since its writing, the report has been discussed several times by both ufologists and by members of the mainstream media.
Jimmy Carter said on the matter.
"There were about twenty of us standing outside of a little restaurant, I believe, a high school lunch room, and a kind of green light appeared in the western sky. This was right after sundown. It got brighter and brighter. And then it eventually disappeared. It didn't have any solid substance to it, it was just a very peculiar-looking light. None of us could understand what it was."
Speaking in a 2005 interview, Carter states:
"all of a sudden, one of the men looked up and said, 'Look, over in the west!' And there was a bright light in the sky. We all saw it. And then the light, it got closer and closer to us. And then it stopped, I don’t know how far away, but it stopped beyond the pine trees. And all of a sudden it changed color to blue, and then it changed to red, then back to white. And we were trying to figure out what in the world it could be, and then it receded into the distance."
According to presidentialufo.com had two UFO experiences as well.
Reagan’s UFO sightings occurred when he was the 33rd Governor of California (1967 – 1975). The first occurred on the night that Reagan was invited to a party that actor William Holden
was having in Hollywood. A number of key personalities were invited. Two of them, comedian Steve Allen, and actress Lucille Ball
both told the story of Reagan’s UFO encounter.
Reagan was missing when the party began and the party was held up until he and Nancy arrived nearly an hour late. According to both Allen’s and Ball’s version of events Reagan was very excited. He described the fact that he and Nancy had seen a UFO while coming down the coast highway to Los Angeles and stopped to watch the event. Some unconfirmed stories of the event stated that the object actually landed. Lucy in her account of the event stated, “After he elected President, I kept thinking about that event, and wondered if he still would have won if he told everyone that he saw a flying saucer.”
The other Reagan sighting occurred in 1974 just before Reagan ended his second term as governor. The story was told by Air Force Colonel Bill Paynter who became the pilot of Reagan’s Cessna Citation jet plane following his retirement from the Air Force.
It a story Ronald Reagan
told to Norman Miller, Washington Bureau Chief for the Wall Street Journal, the governor’s plane was making an approach to land in Bakersfield California. It was during the descent that Reagan noticed a strange light behind the plane. "We followed it for several minutes, Reagan told Miler. “ It was a bright white light. We followed it to Bakersfield and all of a sudden to our utter amazement it went straight up into the heavens."
