Uncle Sam is a national icon for the United States of America. He's most famous for World War posters asking young men to join the military. He's also been a superhero in DC Comics. The video below discusses Uncle Sam's real life past and tells us just how Uncle Sam came to be.

Here's a clip of Uncle Sam on the Batman cartoon The Brave and the Bold.

I couldn't find this next cartoon in a one single video. It's in 4 short parts, but it's definitely worth watching, especially if you need a little bit of inspiration to get through the day. It features Porky Pig and Uncle.
