Hey can someone pass on the message that it's high time Captain Marvel/ Shazam is paid his due! I read on one website where someone said that Captain Marvel was "a poor man's Superman." Well, let me say it for all the Shazam fans out there. That person and anyone who thinks that way is an ass! Anyone who reads comics will tell you that if anything, Superman could stand to a little more upgrading to be comparable to the "The Big Red Cheese." I think casting Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson as the title role is on the level of brilliance as whoever decided to cast Sir Anthony Hopkins in anything he's ever starred in! Please don't let this movie go unmade! It may not mean much to the financial backers, but I would go see this movie for as many weeks as it would be in the theaters and I's get on a waiting list for the DVD. Don't believe me? I think my wife would be willing to testify to that in court :-).

you love him, and yet you call him the big red cheese. shazam is overall in some cases a bit more powerful than superman, or atleast in the only experience i've had with he character in kingdom come. actually, he wasn't as strong at all as supes in the dark knight strikes again, but then again, he'd aged when supes hadn't really. __________________ "You...complete me."

way their making the suerhero movies now, i wouldn't worry about him not getting one at some point. i do like the quote poor man's superman, though, that's pretty funny. __________________ "You...complete me."

I grew up watching the old Shazam TV series, I even met the guy who starred in the first season as Captain Marvel at a comic book convention a while back. I always love it when they pit Captain Marvel up against Superman who I'm also a big fan of.
