i shop online at mycomicshop.com where it cost me $12, but Wizard comics mag named comic of the decade a couple years back, so I figured what the heck, if nothing else it had a cool cover. the place i bought it from said this about it:
Title Action Comics (1938 DC) 775A
Publisher DC
Price(NM) $15.00
Price(VF) $12.00
Comment 1ST PRINTING! 1ST APPEARANCE OF JUSTICE LEAGUE ELITE. WRITTEN BY JOE KELLY;ART BY DOUG MAHNKE, LEE BERMEJO AND MARLO ALQUIZA; COVER BY TIM BRADSTREET Extra-sized issue! Has Superman become outdated in our modern world? A new aggressive team of metahumans called the Elite certainly thinks so, and they're about to wreck the Man of Steel's truth, justice and American way! And if a lot of innocent bystanders get killed in the process, so be it!
my summary:
basicly a new team comes in with the policy to kill first talk later, and in the process they in up killing everybody in the way. then they send a message out on the web telling the people that they are heroes. problem is, everyone likes the new fast policy. superman tries to show them how to do justice without killing anyone in the way. naturally, they dont listen. in the end he is forced to fight the group taking the beating of a life time, until finally when the group thinks they've killed him, he decides to give them a taste of their own medicine.
it was an awesome comic overall.
if u want more pics just say so. __________________"You...complete me."
