rewatched some of the vids fromt he animatrix this weekend.  the animatrix is matrix back stories that only make sense if you've seen all of the movies.  yes, they are anime, and the guy that did this short one is also the director of the only other anime i like, samurai champloo.  so i decided to post it.

the kid in the story is the one who keeps sucking up to neo in the 2nd and third films.  the one that wants to be on the nebuchadnezzar team.   atleast, i think so.  but like i said, if you haven't seen the matrix trilogy, don't even try to understand what happens is this flic.

Yeah, I remember that kid. I just recently rewatched the last two Matrix movies. I own all three. I saw the animatrix a while back. Rented it at the video store. It's pretty cool animation. Looking at it, I think it gives me some ideas on where to go with my Time-Rider images. That's like the direction I'd like to go at least in someways, maybe a little less realistic in the background.

I think eventually I might have 3d covers, and inside the more drawn 2d art work.

yeah, i liked how the episode had a normal, almost realistic background but sketchy characters.  it also seems that the people start to look and move a little more sloppy and unrealistic as it goes, which i think hints on the kids further and further realization that the world he knows is an illusion.  but maybe i'm stretching it their.

Maybe maybe not, it's sometimes hard to predict where an artist is going with something. Creative types are confusing.

i just hate it when teahcers dig into poems and come out with a conclusion that the writer was thinking one thing, but they never think the writer may have just used what rhymed, or actually may have just been straightforward in their poem.

Interesting point, sometimes ideas just fit and that's the only reason they get put into something.
