Due to Tim's kindness about the previous events, i'll post Chapter 4 a little earlier.

Chapter 4; Test
--------------------

The group walks in to a stadium full of comic book fanatics, TV obsessed people, and costumed actors.  All three walk around checking out different stands for a quite a while looking for where Stan Lee is seated.  They then hear an announcement over the loudspeaker saying that Stan Lee will be leaving in 5 minutes so be sure to get your autographs soon at stand A-5. The group runs over to the stand as Lee is leaving.  Mike stops, 'We can't encounter him here, we need to contact him in private.' Ron whispers.  Mike motions for Ron and Philip to stay back while he pushes his way through the crowd.  Mike gets up to the front of the line.

Stan Lee: Hello there, what can I do for you?

Mike: You could do so much, (Mike cups his hands so no camera can see, he then shoots lighting bolts around bouncing off his palms.) Can I talk to you in private?

Stan Lee: (Stunned) how did you-- (Mike fakes a cough, Stan Lee understands then writes down something on a piece of paper) Meet me here in 3 hours.

    Mike: Thank you. (Lee nods)

Mike heads back through the crowd to the others.  They ask him how it went; Mike turns around and sees Stan Lee acting normal, 'Pretty good.' he answers confidently, Mike tells them what happened and shows them the piece of paper as they head out of the auditorium.

    Philip: Now what?

Mike: I don't know, personally I'd like to head out somewhere private and practice these new powers.  On the other hand, I don't want it to cut in to our vacation time any more than it has to.

Ron: When I went on vacations, I used to walk up an down the streets visiting stores here and there.  Let's do that until we have to leave for that place.

Mike: I've done that on my past vacations too, maybe we'll find something I can use on the way.

The group walks up and down the streets visiting stores for many different necessities, some a little odd, some for others, and some for themselves.  Mike finds a costume shop and decides to check it out.  He walks in looking down the rows of cheap fabric imitations.  He decides to ask Lee about that later and walks out, meeting up with Ron and Philip outside.  Mike calls the chauffer to take them to the address given to him by Stan Lee. About a quarter of an hour later, they arrive at the place given to them.  The house looked normal enough; 2 stories high, white, a small porch with a connected garage.  The group walks up and Ron rings the doorbell. The door opens and a butler is standing in the doorway.

Mike: We're here to see Mr. Lee

Butler: Of course, he's excepting you, please come in.

They walk in and are amazed, it looks nothing like the normal house on the outside, in here it resembles a mansion.  The butler asks the group to follow him and they do; he takes them through a maze of galleries of famous superheroes Marvel, DC, and others unknown.  Mike senses that they are going underground, but that isn't what's on his mind, it's the pictures.  Each one seems happy, righteous, and pure, but at the same time, dark, mysterious, and depressive.  They come to a double wood door and the butler pushes it open, and motions the group to go inside.  'The master will be with you soon, please make yourself comfortable', he closes the door.

    Philip: Did you gu--

    Mike: --Shhh.

Mike walks around looking at the walls and the pictures on the walls, these pictures seem normal.  He then walks around the room again, this time checking out the ceiling and the floor.  Finally he looks at the two chairs and the two couches.

Philip:  What is he doing? (He whispers to Ron)

Ron: I think he is trying to sense any electrical equipment or disturbances in the room. (He whispers back)

    Mike: Found something, come here.

Philip: It looks like an ordinary wall to me.

    Ron: It would wouldn't it...

Mike smirks, he pushes on the wall, the wall paper rips revealing a secret door.  As soon as the door opens, an alarm is triggered.  Flame throwers burst through the walls and shoot searing flames at the kids. 'Quick!' Mike yells as pushes Ron and Philip into the doorway, then he jumps in himself and shuts the door.  'Whew' they all sigh in relief, they find themselves in a narrow corridor winding downwards.  Then everyone notices how slippery the floor is, as they look down they see that it's made out of marble--and it is wet.  Just then several boxes in the roof open up revealing a large tubes that start shooting down ice cold water.  'Run!' Mike yells as they all take off down the winding room, white water is shooting toward them, filling up the corridor and chasing the group like stray dogs.  They reach the end, it's a dead end, they turn back to see a glass door pop up from the ground blocking the water from crushing them flat.  The door then has a hole about a half a foot wide, pop out from the middle as water is slowly let in to the little remaining space they have left.

Ron: Man, oh man. What do we do?

Mike: Try the wall, is it unstable? (Philip shoves the wall hard)

Philip: It's solid, Mike can you do anything?

Mike: Water and electricity, don't really mix.  I don't know what will happen if I get wet-- wait, that's it.  Philip plug the hole as tight as you can and Ron get anywhere Philip can't, stall the water for me.

Ron: (Helping Philip plug the hole) What are you going to do--

Mike: --We can't find an exit. (Mike raises both hands and aims them at the wall) So I'm going to make one--brace yourselves!

Mike takes a second and focuses his energy once again, this time he doubles the power and uses 2 hands.  A thick beam of shining yellow energy shoots out at an incredible force and hits the wall square in the center.  It's stopped for a split second, then breaks through in a explosion.

Mike: (Jumping through the hole into another room similar to the first one) Stay there!

    Philip: Are you crazy?!

Mike: Trust me! (Mike disappears for a split second and returns) Ok, jump through quick!

Ron and Philip both jump for it at the same time and barely make it though before the glass door breaks, then the water stops in mid-flow, Mike just entered hyper-speed.  He runs over to control panel on the side and pulls down a red lever labeled "Metal door". Running back he slows down to see the water try to come rushing in only to be stopped by a large metal door slamming down.

    Ron: That...was close.

Mike: You can say that again.

    Stan Lee: Very well done.

Philip:  (Stan Lee is standing in the back of the room next to an open door) Mr. Lee what the heck is going on?  Why were you try--

Mike: --Philip. (Philip stops)  Mr. Lee, this was a test wasn't it?

Stan Lee: Exactly, and you passed with flying colors. Putting your life on the line and in the line of fire for two innocent bystanders happening to be caught in a dire situation.  You used your head to get out of hard situations, and always stayed on top of the ball.  These things are what make a hero super.  Come into my office and we'll talk about what you wanted to discuss.

Who wants to be a superhero should be coming on again in a few months. Too bad I'm chicken or I'd try out.

I kinda wish they'd have a junior version, then again, in about a year and 4 months, I'll officially be an adult, yayazz.

That would mean you could try out for the third or at least 4th season. Hopefully Who Wants to Be A Superhero will still be around.

Have you seen the comic book or the movie that is supposed to come out for the last winner yet?
