the one thing i'm still not getting is the continuinity. i think you should establish one main time that he ultimately lives in or he'd just be traveling and traveling without a life. __________________"You...complete me."

Well actually I am going to get Time-Rider a little more settled in 2007 at A.T.T.A. headquarters with the new team the Lost Heroes.
There's going to be time travel and alternate worlds along the way, but I'm thinking that time travel will be more limited due to the possible side effects of altering time. Time-Rider has a new ability to see the past unfold without actually traveling backward. The first instance of this was the time storm he witnessed recently in issue 6 It's like the echoes of time he's seeing.
As far as having a life, I think he's going to be mainly living the life of an adventurer for the most part. Sort of a soldier for A.T.T.A, but then as revealed a few issues back he's going to be married eventually, unless that Jill girl was lying to him.
There's a whole lot of story I want to tell or can tell about the new characters too. Like Davy Crockett what's going on with him? How is he going to react when he walks around 2007? Can he be a Captain America type of leader as history suggests he was a great leader? Personally, I want him to rub modern uppity type's noses in it. Kind of the way Andy Griffith outsmarted folks on the Andy Griffith Show only with a superhero twist.
I'm thinking Robin Hood can be pretty funny. I'm just trying to decide if folks in his time talked kind of like Thor, King James language or what? You know like with thee's or thou's. I think it would be cool to have him reacting to everything with that kind of noble old speech. Hood comes from like around 1100 AD or so. I'm going to have to research that I guess.

I did make one mistake though, after I had already made the page I realized that the nuclear test occurred very early in the morning so it probably should have been dark. Oh well, maybe I shouldn't have said anything and nobody would have ever known my goof.

Oh, you mean the first issue cover poster I made.
Haven't got it set up yet to print the whole issue yet just a poster print. Working on it though. Got to find a self publisher company.
I understand what you mean about credit cards, I'm getting rid of mine here and there, but I'll probably always have at least one for shopping online and emergencies. I use paypal.com to pay for stuff online alot.

Quote: i'll type up a rough draft for that story this weekend Cool, it'd be awesome to see somebody else's take on it. Great for inspiration. That's why Superman, Spider-Man, and the all the rest are so good because so many people have added their ideas into the mix.
News Update
I'm working on the the next issue, for the first few pages I'm trying to straighten a few things out, make things more clear and answer the questions I've raised in the other issues just a little bit. I'm also trying to define Time-Rider's personality a little bit more, bring out his love of country and old fashioned look at life. After the serious side I'll get into the part I'm really looking forward to which is going to be about mindless action, comic book humor, etc.

I'd put some 3 stooges humor in it, if I could get away with it, in fact I might just figure out how to slip some in there. I love slapstick humor.
Speaking of slapstick did you see the Night of the Museum where he's slapping the monkey. That stuff cracks me up.

Yeah, and putting Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney in there was genius. They should have more movies with the old timers.
