rotten tomatoes already has some reviews up for spiderman 3. theres only one bad one that says the movies 'running on fumes.' i can foresee that happening as it tries to wrap up a lot of the storylines, but with the introduction of venom it should be able to hold its own!

sounds like most folks liked it, I can't wait to see Spidey 3.

I saw Spiderman 3 friday night, i have to say, i wish itwas longer, it seemed to short with the amount of stuff going on all at once. but the last 20 minutes with venom was awsome. they did a real good job with eddie brock, even though he isn't the classic eddie brock we like to see. the only thing i thought was cheesy was when harry teams up with spidey at the end. that was kind of gay. but hey what the heck do i know?

****Spoiler talk

I thought it was cool that he teamed up with him at the end. Even Spider-Man needs help sometimes, right? And besides it was good that Harry went out as a good guy.

the whole harry goblin thing was stretched and kinda ridiculous that they teamed up together. it shoulda had closure after the 1st.

sandman however was a good line.

I liked it better than Spider-Man 2, but the first one is still the best by a hair if it weren't for that lame costume the Green Goblin wore in the first one that one would have been perfect.

The movie succeeded in being fun, and that's what I pay for when I go to see a movie.

i liked the original ghoblin suit alright, and i loved the new movie.  and sorry, but that teamup at the end was kick @$$!  i loved that!  how can you say it was cheesy?!? no way spidey could've taken on both of them, and as it was harry did most of the fighting up until he died! it made perfect sense!  harry was spidey's best friend and even in the comics he dies on a good note.  plus, he loved mary jane and peter, and would protect them with his life!  that was what made the film great in my opinion.  sandman was cool and i liked the actor, and venom was alright.  he was basically what i expected and just didn't have quite as dynamic of an action sequence as peter had when he fought harry in the beginning of the film.  i thought it was a worthy chapter in the spider-man movies and james franco is like the coolest actor ever now.  i was afraid it was gonna end without peter and mary jane closure but it did.  but now i want a fourth film!  i noticed that this was actually the only film to end without a spidey sequence to credits.  but i was very impressed.  some people didn't like the "emo" peter but that was the suit exploiting his characteristics and showed the darker side of spidey. and it was hilarious when he was dancing down the street! you get those people that think it has to be exactly like the first two in every way, but this was a different look on spidey and a different chapter in his history, and i don't pay to see the same movie, i loved the new ideas and new outlook.  i especially liked the first fight between harry and peter.  that was amazing, they were going so fast i could hardly keep up.  that gets my award for best action sequence ever in a movie, but new technology allows a new winner every year.  like two years ago, star wars' amazing sequences, and before that the matrix of course.  it was also great when he was trying to revive harry, because they were friends and even in the comics, no matter how bad it got, peter never gave up on harry.

I really liked it when Peter almost lost the ring, that was a cool scene. The part where he was grabbing for it reminded of a scene on Lord of the Rings. If he had lost Aunt May's ring, I'd have been sad the rest of the picture.

M.J whined to much for me, it was kinda getting on my nerves....other than that I thought it was pretty good, not like the 2nd one but close... they did an excellent job on picking the sandman he was very good at playing him.

I think there was more action scenes in the third than the second one.

i love both for different reasons, but hockeyman, you've got to understand that girls are just a little strange sometimes, no offense, but i've read the harry potter novels, i know what i'm talking about!
