Excerpt from Christian Bale Interview
Superhero Hype!: You seem like an actor who is always looking to do something new, so how hard is it for you to go back and play Batman, a character you've already done? Is there something new you feel you can bring to him?
Christian Bale: You got to see with the other versions, it didn't really keep it going, but Chris Nolan who I'm working with for the third time now, he ain't going to be making a movie if he's not going to be doin' something very different with it which he's achieved in spades. I'm actually liking very much the idea, because I haven't reprised a role before, so I know it already and obviously there'll be progress. We've got a great cast as well. Chris and me work very well together, so I know we'll be fighting an awful lot to add to it. The last thing it is is treading water. Now the people support us completely too so we have all that extra support behind us, to just kind of let rip.

interesting,. would've ben better if they did like the spider-man movies and started making the sequels right after the originals.  it just sucks waiting 3-4 years.  they also have a different girl as rachel dawson.  thanks a lot tom cruise!  you've ruined the batman girl!!!

yeah, every 2 years would be perfect or better yet every year

i don't mind two years for a quality film, and even occasionally 3, but just wasting time sucks.  i like how the matrix 2&3 were made at the same time to be put out as a two pater 6 months away form each other.  getting left hanging stinks, but i'm fine with it as long as the sequel comes out within the next year.  pirates did the same thing, th third one comes out this month along witrh shrek 3 and of course, spidey 3.  it's gonna be a record breaking month for movies.  three big time sequels in one month, wow.  especially considering this years movies have been lame with the exception of 300 and ghost rider.  i'm also lookin forward to die hard 4.

A lot of good movies are coming out like you say. The thing I did notice about the Matrix scheduling is that although it still made a lot of money I think the total box office of Matrix 3 dropped off a lot from 2. It could have been a lot of people decided it was no big deal to just wait a couple more months for the dvd. I know the thought crossed my mind. I can't remember if I went to see Matrix 3 or waited for the DVD ultimately. I did get em all on DVD though.

yeah, a lot of people were kind of disappointed with the ay it went too, but i thought it was a great and worthy ending to the series.  the first one, of course is my favorite due to it having the original idea, but i dtill love the other 2.  they really set the standard for the new millenium's action movies.
