yeah, i heard about that on yahoo after the success of 300, but i heard frank miller was directing. he'd better at least be co-director like he was for sin city and 300. yahoo also said that frank miller would be directing a spirit movie on total blue/green screen sets like they did with sin city and 300. Spirit's an old detective type superhero book by will eisner. i hope miller keeps it straight and doesn't put too much of his touch on it, he sometimes pushes it too far with characters like batman. ronin is also supposed to be total blue/green screen.
