I'm a big fan of horror movies and I loved the Boris Karloff mummy and the new Mummy movies (Their making the Mummy 3!)
I was planning to use zombies but back in the 20's Egypt and mummies were very popluar. As for the part him hiding his soul in a needle...got that from a russian tale of Koschei the Deathless
Who hide his soul inside a needle, which is in an egg, which is in a duck, which is in a hare, which is in an iron chest, which is buried under a green oak tree, which is on the island of Buyan, in the ocean.
I'm really glad ya like it and I'll be fast at work righting the squel.
