Gatlingburg is fun if you've got the money to spend. Lots of stuff to do, but everything costs alot of money.
Dollywood is ok, but it's like most amusement parks. You have to wait in line forever. I got mad the last time I went. They made me walk way around the back of their parking bus when I was riding up front. Said it was for safety. The only way I was going to get hit is if the stupid driver let off the brake. Plus I'd already past the front so they made me risk my life twice by asking me to go back around. You can't sit on any of the rocks either. The Dollywood nazis will fuss at you. You can only sit in designated areas. I had fun I suppose at Dollywood before that day, but after getting fussed at twice in one day I was getting the feeling like I was being treated like I worked for them, and I was the one paying them the money.

Oh and in Gatlinburg if you see a haunted house. Forget it. You walk in and sit down. They turn off the lights, and make some noise. That's it. Of course that was a few years a go since I've been to that one. It was on my honeymoon.

Go to the Car museum.

And stop by Cooter's Garage if it's still there. They might have closed that one down though I'm not sure.

If nothing else there is a very fun atmosphere in that area as long as you aren't like me and get crabby at the site of traffic. Sometimes in the day it gets kind of bad.
