Hmm... Ok. When I went to Comic-Con I sat down in the audience at the DC Panel and listened to some of the questions. My dad then went up an asked them what a 16/17 yr old boy would need as help for writing his own stories. The DC panelists said Persistence, never giving up and things like that. One of them recommended a book, by Lurene Haines called The Writer's Guide to the Business of Comics. I thought this book would help me with my stories, but one of the very first lines says quote:
Quote: This book is not designed to instruct you on how to develop your writing talents. (Haines 11)
As I looked through the book more, I realized that this is for later when I want to get my story out into the general public which brings me back here. I bet this book is perfect for what you need right now, not only do I give it 10 out of 10, but remember a DC panelist recommended it. So, I'd say buy the book, give it a read, and see if it helps any. __________________
