cape and tights of the "Man of Steel" in the sequel, ATOM MAN
VS. SUPERMAN (1950), reported be the most finacially successful
serial of all-time. In addition to three other non-comic book
hero cliffhangers, 1953, he would play BLACKHAWK in the 1952
chapterplay and was announced by Republic Pictures to star as
COMMANDO CODY, a role which eventually went to Judd Holdren. He
is aptly remembered as "The Last of the Serial Kings."
