Wayne from a criminal called Killer Moth. She worked alongside
Batman and the original Robin Dick Grayson. Her career as
Batgirl was ended when she was shot by the Joker. Now she
operates as the Oracle helping fight crime with her computing

but handed the mantle on to Cassandra Cain. Batgirl
III: The daughter of assassin David
Cain, Cassandra spent years being molded into the perfect
assassin. Denied vocal stimuli, she was trained to communicate
with violence. But Cain was unsuccessful in supplanting her
conscience, and she eventually escaped, seeking asylum in
Gotham. Since then, she has rapidly acquired language skills
and made a few very deadly enemies, including Lady Shiva
Wu-San, perhaps the greatest martial artist alive. Batgirl
aids Batman has been taken under the wing of the original
