Artists description of the picture: On the left the original version of Nick Fury, as portrayed by David Hasselhoff in the TV movie "Nick Fury: Agent of Shield" (1998). And on the right is the new "Ultimate" version of Nick Fury. It's basically an altered picture of Samuel L Jackson from the movie Shaft(2000).

Webmaster Note: Looking at this image you have to conclude Marvel Comics chose to make the Ultimate Nick Fury resemble Samuel L. Jackson to perhaps get him to one day portray the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent on the big screen. It's got to happen sooner or later maybe even on the upcoming Captain America movie.
