This is the Thing cartoon that was a part of
the (believe it or not) Fred and Barney meet the Thing show. It was
billed as the same show, but Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble had separate
adventures each show from the thing. The Thing was a teenager named
Benji who could turn into the grown up Thing when needed by using
his Thing ring. Cartoons back then may have been silly, but you know
they were fun and just down right creative. No Fantastic Four on
this series, but just a year or two before the Fantastic Four had a
cartoon series with Herbie the Robot replacing the Human Torch.
