Mark Hamill (born 25 September 1951 in Oakland, California) is an American actor and voice actor. Hamill is best known for his portrayal of farmboy-turned-Jedi knight Luke Skywalker in the original
Star Wars films. After the Star Wars films, Hamill had a successful career on
Broadway. He's most well known to comic book fans as the evil
Joker on Batman the Animated Series and his appearances on the Justice
League Animated Series.
Before getting the role of
the Joker he played a Joker like character on the Flash
TV series known as the Trickster.
