Desert Stars is the name of a superhero team in the Marvel Comics universe. The group of heroes are the official Arizona Fifty State Initiative team and where created by Christos Gage and Stefano Caselli.
History
As the team worked to help civilians during the Secret Invasion, 3-D Man and the Skrull Kill Krew attack. They reveal Desert Stars' member the Blacksmith to be a Skrull, and after a fierce battle they kill him. Most of the Desert Stars team is incapacitated during the fight, but Komodo leaves to help 3-D Man and the Skull Kill Krew find the Skrulls who have infiltrated the other Initiative teams.
