A list of Quality, Fawcett and Charlton comics characters that have not been used by DC Comics since each respective date of acquisition below.

All Quality and Fawcett characters listed here lapsed into the public domain prior to the acquisition of the companies that owned them. All Charlton characters presumed to be owned by DC unless mentioned otherwise.

Charlton

Charlton's "Action Heroes" were acquired by DC in 1983; most of the rest bought out by Roger Broughton for his AGC Comics line and thus are unavailable for DC's use. The rest were given/sold off to their creators or others.
