The newspaper is pivotal in the world of comic book superheroes. The world's biggest and most popular superheroes both work at different newspaper offices. Clark Kent, Superman's alter ego works at the Daily Planet as a reporter along with Superman supporting characters Lois Lane, Perry White, and Jimmy Olsen.
