Windfire is a character of Time-Rider online comic book stories. Time-Rider is part of the superherouniverse.com online comics section, and is a part of the Superherouniverse Comics Universe. See Online Comic Books.
History
Windfire first appeared in the online issue 3 of Time-Rider as Jill Martin the future wife of John Martin the Time-Rider. It was later revealed that Jill was from a distant future from the planet Elohi-2. The Time-Rider's essence had become trapped on this distant world after being zapped by a air ship belonging to the alien troops of Maxitalien Osirex. Jill decided to go back to the past through the open wormhole Time-Rider had came through to find his other half and hopefully rejoin him. Donning a mask she came to Earth in 2007 in the persona of Windfire.
After having helped Time-Rider rejoin with his soul essence she then helped Time-Rider defeat Jake the Samurai Surfer who had been turned into a double agent thanks to the time manipulations of Osirex. After Time-Rider had went back to the U.S.S Eldridge to stop the time jump that initially started not only his career as a superhero, but led the Maxitaliens and the evil Osirex to Earth.
Having essentially ended the original time line it is uncertain how Time-Rider, Windfire, and Samurai Surfer will now appear. It is very probable that Jill's home planet, Elohi-2, a planet initially inhabited by humans from the planet Earth, may now not exist as an inhabited planet in the future as the original intent was for humans to escape Maxitalien rule in the future.
It is likely Jill will still marry John Martin the Time-Rider as she is seen in the last panels of Time-Rider issue 19 volume 1.
Powers
Her strength and speed seems to be greater than that of your typical woman. She has great expertise in the fighting arena exhibiting some sort of martial arts knowledge.
