The action RPG doesn’t have a release date but is still coming to PS4.
After its last trailer in 2018, UltiZero Games’ Lost Soul Aside has received extensive new gameplay footage. It showcases the main character, Kazer, and his dragon-like companion, battling foes that range from a mysterious nemesis to monsters. Check it out below.
The combat’s Devil May Cry inspiration is more obvious when it comes to the weapons, combos and movement. Kazer’s companion is capable of transforming into different weapons from a regular sword and large broadsword to gauntlets and greaves. It can even turn into a hoverboard, both during a chase sequence and in regular combat. There are a fair number of action adventure sequences including one part where the character is able to descend with wings.
Overall, the enemy design and boss battles – along with the dynamic between Kazer and his companion, who can seemingly take control of his body – look intriguing. A release window wasn’t announced and Lost Soul Aside is still in development for PS4 (though PS5 support wouldn’t be surprising). Stay tuned for more details and updates in the meantime.
